Art Place Gallery Reception for New Two-Member Show "Arboreous", April 6

Fairfield, CT - Art/Place Gallery invites the public to a reception for “Arboreous”, a new show of work by members Susanne Andover Keany and Mollie Keller on Sunday, April 6, from 2:30 to 4:30pm. Join them at 3:30 for a talk about how they navigate their shady and shadowy world of trees. The show will run from 3/31 to 4/27 at 70 Sanford Street in Fairfield. This is the sixth show of Susanne and Mollie together at Art/Place.

Susanne Keany is a painter and sculptor who finds inspiration in nature. Moving to Weston shifted her focus from the water’s edge to the towering trees and the life within them.

Mollie Keller is primarily a painter obsessed with color. These works are a subconscious expression of her preoccupation with another lifelong interest.

Art/Place is a non-profit, artist-run gallery that has been in existence for more than 40 years. It features a new show by one or more members every month and several group shows a year.
