Port Chester, NY - Clay Art Center invites the public to join them for a family-friendly
Opening Reception on Saturday, January 25th, 1:30 - 3:30 pm, for "Rising Stars", a student exhibition. The reception will include tours of Clay's artist studios, classrooms and firing facilities.
The exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists, each contributing their unique perspective and creative energy. It provides a meaningful opportunity to recognize and acknowledge the technical skills, creativity and progress of the Center's adult learners. The exhibition also shows works from the Center's adult and youth learners from its Community Arts programs. Younger students bring contagious enthusiasm and joy to their clay creations and their playful and imaginative pieces serve as a reminder of the pure delight of working in clay. Additionally, the exhibition showcases the works of the Center's dedicated instructors, whose expert guidance enable students to flourish.
