Fairfield, CT – In celebration of National Library Week (April 8-13), Fairfield Public Library has introduced a newly redesigned library card for patrons from the town of Fairfield. The card features the Library's new fox mascot — voted upon last summer by Library users — and a brightly-colored background derived from the Library's four-color logo.
Residents of Fairfield who have not yet obtained a library card should hurry to their closest Circulation Desk at the Main Library (1080 Old Post Road) or Fairfield Woods Branch (1147 Fairfield Woods Road) to secure one, or apply online: https://fairfieldpubliclibrary.org/my-fpl/library-cards/
Library card membership entitles Fairfield residents to a world of borrowing options, including physical items like books, audiobooks, museum passes, DVDs, and video games, but also digital access to movies, music, and magazines. Fantastic databases such Novelist Plus, Creativebug, Mango Languages and www.tutor.com
are yours to explore simply by entering your own unique library card number on the Library's website.
Note: To obtain a library card, patron must be a full-time resident of Fairfield, Connecticut, and show proof of residency. This offer does not extend to part-time Fairfield residents or college students attending a Fairfield university, who will receive guest cards upon application.
