Westport, CT - Calling all local residents to clean out their closets and dump out their dressers! Tax-deductible donations of new or gently worn clothing and accessories are being accepted now for The Westport Woman’s Club (WWC) upcoming Epic Clothing & Accessories Sale. Donations will be accepted through October 25th.
The WWC thanks Winged Monkey for their donation of new dresses for this year’s fundraising event, and also welcomes other local retail businesses, in addition to the general public, to participate by donating their excess inventories of clothing and accessories for the Sale.
Donated items may be dropped off any weekday Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am and 12pm or 1pm and 4pm at the coat room of The Westport Woman’s Club located at 44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT.
Please note that items sought include women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, as well as accessories (shoes, boots, handbags, scarves, jewelry, etc.) Torn or soiled items will not be accepted, nor will personal items such as undergarments, lingerie, and bathing suits.
The WWC would like to thank the community for their donations and generosity in prior years, and hopes for their continued and increasing support each year to be able to do more for those in need in Westport and surrounding communities.
Please ‘Save The Dates’ for the upcoming Sale! Make plans to come browse and take home your favorite items! The WWC will be holding its annual Epic Clothing & Accessories Sale on the following dates: Friday, November 8th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Saturday, November 9thfrom 10:00 am – 4:00 pm; and Sunday, November 10th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, at the WWC’s Imperial Avenue historical clubhouse. Entry is free. There will, however, be special early bird access for one hour prior to the start time on the first day of the sale, Friday, November 8th. For a donation of $10, you can enter at 9am and enjoy first dibs at the many treasures!
The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the educational, charitable, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns.
