Why did you start your business?
I opened my coffee shop business in Fairfield, CT because I saw a great opportunity to serve the local commuter community with something special. With two train stations and a steady flow of daily travelers, it was the perfect place to offer quick, high-quality coffee and food with a personal touch. I wanted to create a welcoming environment where people could rely on amazing, freshly roasted coffee made on-site, experience genuine customer service, and enjoy something unique—like my now-famous pretzel sandwiches. Fairfield gave me the ideal setting to bring all of that together.
What is your best-selling product or service?
Coffee, egg sandwiches on homemade pretzel buns and avocado toast on pretzel baguette.
Do you use any local businesses to support Wake-Up Coffee?
At Wake-Cup-Coffee in Fairfield, CT, we proudly support several local businesses that help us bring our best to the community. We work with Minuteman Press for promotional materials. We also partner with a local handyman service for repairs and maintenance. Altogether, we regularly collaborate with 4 to 5 local businesses, and we’re always open to adding more to strengthen our local economy and relationships.
