The region’s beloved and longest running band, founded by Greenwich native Billy Frenz in 1963, takes to the stage on Thursday, June 19th for the Historical Society’s Music on the Great Lawn concert from 6:30 – 8 pm. Billy and the Showmen’s high impact entertainment with a mix of Rhythm and Blues, Motown, Funk and Soul has broad appeal across all age groups. The Music on the Great Lawn concert series, which continues every other Thursday through September 4th, is enjoyed by area residents who appreciate fine music and socializing with family and friends on the Historical Society's sumptuous lawn and historic gardens.

Concerts are free for Historical Society members and children; $10 for non-members. All members receive special year-round benefits, including free admission to museum galleries, exhibition openings, museum store discounts, and more. Renew or join at the Dual/Family level ($100) to receive a canvas picnic tote, while supplies last.
