Junior League of Greenwich Touch a Truck Fundraiser Welcomes Over 2500!

GREENWICH, CT {May 28, 2024} – The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) hosted its annual fundraiser, Touch a Truck (TAT), Sunday, May 19th at Greenwich Town Hall with over 2500 attendees, 40+ vehicles, and over 50 sponsors! Kids of all ages came to enjoy dozens of unique trucks, and various children’s activities including a very popular trackless train ride, a bubble show, martial arts, lawn games, food trucks, and live music. As always, there were fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, tow trucks, and construction equipment to explore.

The first hour of TAT offered both a VIP early access as well as a reduced sensory experience which provided families an opportunity to explore all the trucks and vehicles in a smaller group setting, while vehicles refrained from the use of lights, horns, and other loud sounds.

Reflecting on the success of the event, JLG President Karen Hasterok commented, “What a fantastic day! The Junior League of Greenwich's Touch a Truck event delivered hands-on fun and lasting memories for so many happy children, showcasing the vibrant spirit of our community.”
