Pickleball America presents Mothers and Fathers exhibit of 25 original works

Pickleball America Presents: "Mothers and Fathers", an exhibit of 25 original fine art portrait drawings and paintings by members of The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists (CSOPA).

Family friendly and free and open to the public now through June 28th, 2024 at the Stamford Town Center located at 140 Atlantic Street in Stamford CT. Open every day from 7am to 10pm. Covered on-site parking at the former Saks Fifth Avenue is available. Handicap Accessible. 

Meet the artists: Two Receptions: Opening Pre-Mother’s Day: Thursday May 9, 6-8pm. Pre-Father’s Day Local Craft Brews: Thursday June 13, 6-8pm. David Aronson will be demonstrating a portrait sketch from life during the receptions.

“Mothers and Fathers” is a celebration of family as interpreted by members of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists. Mothers with babies or fur-babies, family groups, Nanas, Fathers that served in WW2, Grandparents with Grandchildren, and an historic portrait of a family murdured during the Holocaust are featured.  

Pet parents aren’t forgotten either! Viktoria Stockmal shares her watercolors of kitties “Queen V and Her Knights” and “Amanda and Moch”. ShawnaLee’s “Dandy with her Vicki” captures the strength of bonds between people and their fur-pups!
