Hartford Stage Announces 2014-2015 Season

Hartford Stage today released the names and dates of the six plays they will be producing in their upcoming season. The shows include a few classics, a musical, a world premiere, and a dramatic slice of Hartford history.
Darko Tresnjak will direct Shakespeare's Hamlet starting in October and the musical Kiss Me Kate beginning in May of next year. Matthew Lopez's Reverberation will have its world premiere at Hartford Stage in February 2015. The Pianist of Willesden Lane, a true story set in WW2-era London, will have its East Coast premiere in March of 2015, as will Ether Dome, about the Hartford doctor who discovered the anesthetic, in March of this year. Rounding out the season is Noel Coward's comedy Private Lives, also directed by Tresnjak, beginning next January.
Last month, the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts announced their 2014-2015 lineup. It includes Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin, Nice Work IF You Can Get It, Camelot, Once, and Kinky Boots.
