In two recent emails, the West End Civic Association (WECA) provided updates on the work that started this week around the Ana Marquez-Greene playscape in Elizabeth Park,
Currently, according to WECA, the East Lawn Playground is being prepared for a new base and equipment. Three new elements - swings, climbing ropes, and a splash pad - will be constructed beside the purple playground erected in March.
WECA also provided a rendering of the play area that is now being built, which shows swings and climbing ropes. It is scheduled to be finished in August.
