See Nationally-Syndicated Sports Columnist Mike Lupica in Katonah Sunday
(KATONAH) The Harvey School announces that nationally-syndicated columnist, ESPN New York radio sports show host and acclaimed author of books for children, Mike Lupica will appear next month as a special guest in the school’s community venture called Harvey Presents, a program designed to share The Walker Center for The Arts with the local community. Emmy Award-winning sports broadcaster Jimmy Roberts of NBC and The Golf Channel will serve as interviewer and moderator for the event Sunday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m.
Harvey Presents: An Afternoon with Mike Lupica will take place in the intimate setting of The Lasdon Theater at The Walker Center for the Arts on the campus of The Harvey School. Sports fans and readers of the writer’s columns and novels will have an extraordinary up close opportunity to hear Mike Lupica give his take on the hot-button issues in the world of professional, collegiate and high school sports. Mr. Lupica’s nationally-syndicated column, “Shooting from the Lip” and his daily talk show on ESPN-NY 98.7 FM radio provide him ample opportunity to tackle the hot topics and take on the big name personalities who find themselves embroiled in controversy.
The event will also offer a limited number of fans the opportunity to meet and greet Mr. Lupica for a photo and a signing of his newest book, Fantasy League.
Tickets for Harvey Presents: An Afternoon with Mike Lupica are on sale now. Individual tickets for a Meet and Greet, which includes admission and a signed, complimentary copy of Fantasy League, are $50 each for adults and $30 for students. General Admission is $30 per ticket for adults, $15 for students. Seating is limited.
