Screening of The Bullish Farmer featuring Bedford resident, John Boy Ubaldo on June 21

Join us for conversation, organic light bites and a screening of The Bullish Farmer on June 21, 7-9pm at Historical Hall, 608 Old Post Road, Bedford Village.

Bedford Village retailer, locavore and former high-powered Wall Street investment banker, John “John Boy” Ubaldo, gives it all up to live a quiet life as a small farmer dedicated to growing delicious and sustainable agriculture for his family and community.  John’s agrarian life and values, however,  are constantly challenged by Big Agriculture’s (Big Ag) controversial farming practices. This thoughtful documentary follows John’s fight to help preserve small farms and rural America and his effort to educate his customers, followers and community about the dangers of what’s hiding in our food and the soil it is grown in.

Tickets $5 per person.

Seat reservations encouraged, please email rsvp@bedfordplayhouse.org  or call 914.234.6704
