FroyoWorld - Milford CT's Sweet New Lounge

FroyoWorld has almost 53,000 likes across their Facebook Pages, and it is easy to see (and taste) why.  And now, Connecticut based FroyoWorld is sweetening up the Boston Post Road with a location in Milford, CT.  According to the company's website, there is quite an event planned for September 14th, when the Milford lounge will formally celebrate its Grand Opening.  Doors will open at 11 a.m. and there will be a free gift with purchase for the first 200 customers (while supplies last). 

FroyoWorld is a fast growing chain, founded by two former UConn students who also happen to be brothers.

Since its launch in the summer of 2010, the chain has grown to 18 locations, including the recently opened FroyoWorld in Storrs Center, just off campus at 1 Dog Lane. The chain is expected to expand to 50 or more locations by the end of 2013, according to William, the younger of the two Bok brothers. In the past year, FroyoWorld has experienced a whopping 600 percent growth, according to recent news published on their website. 

Milford's FroyoWorld is located at 1670 Boston Post Road, and offers the "Best quality frozen yogurt you can taste, containing only the finest ingredients!" Self-serve yogurt, sold by the ounce with a cool atmosphere is certainly one benefit.  Each location employs 10 to 15 people, so more locations equals more jobs.  Now that's SWEET!
