She was raised in Belgrade, Serbia, and started playing tennis at 8 years old.  At 11, she came to the U.S. to compete in tournaments. With her husband, fellow Milford Indoor Tennis pro Nedeljko Mirosavljevic, she owns a tennis club in Belgrade.
