
The Milford Irish Festival, September 18th and 19th is truly an event for your whole family!!
Admission is free at the Milford Irish Festival for children under 12 years old, and so are the many activities planned in the Children’s Area! The Children’s Area will be open from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, September 18th, and from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday, September 19th. While you and your children enjoy the children’s activities, you will be right across from the main stage, and will be able to enjoy the entertainment as well!
Arts and Crafts will be featured, such as Plant A Shamrock, Play Dough, Beading, Coloring, and Face Painting. There will also be Games and Prizes, a Bounce House and a Jousting Game!
On Friday night from 7-8 pm, is the fantastic Gabe, the Balloon Guy!

Come and enjoy a cup of traditional tea or coffee, or Irish tea, Irish coffee with Jameson’s. Friday night hot beverages only, but on Saturday there will also be baked goods from Emerald Bakery, including Irish soda bread, brown bread, scones (cranberry, blueberry, raisin and plain) and apple cake.

Cultural Area – Friday night: Ceili ! Saturday: Activities & Entertainment All Day!
The Milford Irish Festival Cultural area offers a variety of entertainment and exhibits.
Friday Night 9/18 we will host a Ceili, a very lively form of folk dancing with music by Ceol Agus Craic.
Saturday 9/19 is filled with exhibitors, information and performers. For entertainment, step dancing will be performed by two of our local Irish step dancing schools: The Lenihan School of Irish Dance and the Mulkerin School of Irish Dance; the Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band will provide an informative talk about the bagpipes and play the pipes; the Shamrock Tradition Irish Music Society will fill the air with Irish tunes played on traditional instruments and will accompany the step dancers. The Tara Theatre Company will present a scene from their latest production, Widow’s Paradise. See the Saturday schedule listed below.
