Man Arrested After Attempting to Purchase Items with Stolen Credit Cards

On July 13, 2016, at approximately 4:50pm Milford Police received a complaint of an individual attempting to make a purchase with a stolen credit card at Sears, 1201 Boston Post Road.

The individual, Abdoulaye Barry (B/M, 24) 106-29 156th Street, Jamaica NY, attempted to purchase a TV valued at approximately $1,800 using a stolen Sears credit card and a false identification card, US Passport and Social Security number. Later found in Barry’s vehicle during an inventory, were six (6) more US Passports with Barry’s picture and different names. Barry also had false utility bills, which would be used as secondary ID’s, more stolen Credit Cards and a small amount of marijuana.

Barry is charged with:

Credit Card Theft (2 counts)

Larceny 6th

Criminal Attempt Larceny 6th

Forgery 1st (6 counts)

Criminal Impersonation

Possession less than ½ ounce marijuana

Barry was held on $25,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on July 14, 2016.
