Michael Franti & Spearhead Trio Light Up The Ridgefield Playhouse Summer Gala on August 22

Michael Franti is bringing the “Sound of Sunshine” to The Ridgefield Playhouse Summer Gala on Sunday, August 22! Best known for hits like “Say Hey (I Love You)” “I’m Alive,” “I’ll Be Waiting” and “The Sound of Sunshine,” Michael Franti and Spearhead Trio will showcase their signature blend of hip-hop with funk, reggae, jazz, folk, and rock with their brand new “Good Day For A Good Day World Tour.”
For gala ticket holders, the night kicks off at 5:30pm with a pre-show cocktail party, open bar and silent auction. The gala, which benefits The Playhouse (a non-profit, 501 (c) (3)), will feature bites prepared by local restaurants – including TerraSole, Gallo of Ridgefield and others. Fabulous silent auction items will be available to bid on during the gala outside, under the tent. Michael Franti & Spearhead Trio will perform in the theater at 7:30pm. Michael Franti & Spearhead Trio is part of Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity.
