October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Our campaign, "A Crucial Catch," in partnership with the American Cancer Society and The NFL, is focused on the importance of regular breast cancer screenings.
Starting this Saturday over 200 New Canaan Flag Football players will be showing support by wearing pink items. These items generously donated by the “NFL”, have players from grades 2nd-8th support for Breast Cancer.
We will continue our support all month long for Breast Cancer Awareness. This 2015, youth and high school teams around the country will support "A Crucial Catch" - don’t sit on the bench join in the fight to end breast cancer!
In addition players can purchase shoelaces and socks in pink, from New Balance, New Canaan - where the proceeds will go to “The Susan G Komen Foundation”.
