
Cynthia Badan recently joined the staff of Competitive Edge College Advisors (CECA) of New Canaan as an educational advisor to students applying to college or considering a “gap year” before college, as well as advising those applying to private secondary schools. In addition, she works with students looking to enhance their academic and/or athletic credentials. Cynthia is assisting in organizing the next event in a series of panel discussions on the “Realities of College Admissions Process” sponsored by CECA, currently being planned for the end of January.
Doug Richardson, Partner, CEA, stated that “the addition of Cynthia to our team enhances our capabilities in our Boarding School, College Planning and Athletic Recruiting offerings.”
Cynthia a resident of New Canaan, is also employed part time by the New Canaan Country School in Community Development and as an athletic coach in the Middle and the Upper Schools for: Field Hockey, Lacrosse and Squash. Her husband, Yvain Badan, is head of the Squash Program at the Country Club of New Canaan.
