Vegan Pop up Dinner Menu at elm Restaurant

On Wednesday, October 5th elm restaurant will be serving an entirely vegan a la carte menu! Chef Luke Venner and other talented chefs will collaborate to cook a unique one time only vegan experience.

Mazen Mustafa
 
Formerly the executive chef of The Elm in Williamsburg Brooklyn, Mazen has trained in New York City kitchens for several years including Michelin Starred restaurants such as Corton, Momofuku Ko, and Restaurant Bouley. Mazen is currently working on an upcoming project that embraces local influences, products, and artisans. 
 
Marcell Davidson
 
Marcell Davidsen, executive chef at Community Table and a native of Denmark, brings his Nordic sensibility and unique, artistic approach to create modern dishes that celebrate local and natural ingredients in their purest form. In his free time, Marcell likes to forage for herbs, flowers, and greens.
 
Tyler Anderson
 
A California native, Tyler has cooked for top level Chicago chefs such as Charlie Trotter, Sarah Stegner, and George Bumbaris. He currently is the chef & owner of the two-time James Beard nominated restaurant Millwright's in Simsbury, CT. He respects and and supports Connecticut's farmers and artisan food producers believing that locally - and lovingly-raised ingredients play an essential role in his kitchen. 
 
Luke Venner
 
Luke Venner brings his vision of casual and elegant dining to New Canaan, Connecticut. Highly skilled, yet refreshingly, modest – Venner joins elm from Manhattan twin hot spots, BLT Fish and BLT Steak. His award-winning cuisine has been featured in the New York Times, Gotham, Elle, Wine Spectator and the New York Post. The chef was born and raised in Pierre, South Dakota and grew up surrounded by fields of wheat, fruit and flowers on his grandfathers farm.
