In January I posted about a new sidewalk going in, which will take pedestrians from Elm Street, along Weed and into Irwin Park. Well the sidewalk is already in and I'm sure the crosswalk is coming soon.
A second exciting phase is planned where you walk a trail from Irwin Park to the New Canaan Nature Center. This will be handled by the New Canaan Land Trust and the New Canaan Nature Center and funded entirely through donations and volunteers. If everything goes to plan it could be finished by summer 2017.
