Encore Club of New Canaan holds annual spring luncheon and fashion show

The Encore Club of New Canaan will be hosting its annual Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show at Giovanni’s Waters Edge on May 3 at 11:30 am.  The event is open to the public and will feature our own Encore members modeling fashions from More “N” More located on Elm Street in New Canaan. Encore President Mary Liz Lewis, pictured left, is picking out her outfits with store manager Donna Yellin. After lunch, the retailer will offer a pop-up shop with a selection of spring fashions.

On June 2, the Encore Club will be hosting its Summer Evening Party featuring “Coast to Coast” cuisine and dancing to Tony Masi and The Summertime Band at The Silvermine Golf Club in Norwalk. Non-members are invited to attend and experience one of the most popular club events of the year.

Founded in 1985, Encore Club is a social club, offering a variety of activities including Hiking, Golf, Summer Tennis, Book Group, Bridge, Critic’s Corner Movie group, E.A.T.S. (Eating and Tasting Society luncheon group), just to name a few. Membership is open to residents of New Canaan and surrounding towns and is ongoing throughout the year.
