New Canaan's Whirlwind Diving Recognizes Six Senior Divers, Coach Places 100th Athlete in Collegiate Program

 

Coach Joe Somma Places his 100^th Athlete in a Collegiate Diving Program                                               

Whirlwind Diving at the New Canaan YMCA marked 22^nd competitive season at its banquet this past Saturday at the Country Club of Darien. During the event, Coach Joe Somma recognized six senior divers (details below) and their accomplishments. The celebration marked an important milestone in the history of the Whirlwind program - the 100^th diver placed in a collegiate program. (The complete Whirlwind alumni list can be accessed online).
