New Canaan Synchronized Swimmers

The New Canaan Aquianas Synchronized Swimming Team were featured on National Public Radio (NPR), as they prepare to compete for a national title at the 2014 USA Synchro Age Group Nationals.

Nearly 30 members of the New Canaan Aquianas Synchronized Swimming Team are set to compete for a national title at the championships. They take place at Federal Way, WA between June, 27th to July 5, 2014. The meet is the largest synchronized swimming meet in the world! Competition in four age groups include: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-17 and 18-19 years.

The Aquianas athletes will compete in the 12 and under and 13-15 year events - as a team, trio, duet and solo. Two 13-15 year teams and one 12 and under team will swim at Federal Way.

Head Coach, Jen Muzyk says: "The girls are excited to attend this celebration of the sport, and for the chance to show off all their hard work over the last year. Traveling and competing as a large group really solidifies the girls' pride in their team and club achievements."
