New Canaan Police Report Wanted Person Leland Robinson Taken Into Custody

New Canaan police reported today that Wanted Person Leland Robinson has been taken into custody in Brooklyn NY by the FBI after a joint partnership with the New Canaan Police Investigations Section and the FBI Fugitive Task Force New York office.

A warrant for the arrest of Robinson was signed by the state prosecutor and a judge for violating the below Connecticut General Statutes:

53a-90a(a) Enticing A Minor By Computer
53a-71(a)(1) Sexual Assault 2nd Degree
53a-73a(a)(1) Sexual Assault 4th Degree
53-21(a) Risk of Injury To A Child

The above charges stem from an investigation into crimes committed against a juvenile.

Police say that additional details to be released at a later time.
