Answer: The New Fairfield Community Thrift Shop Halloween selection. We still have an assortment of costumes as well as some very unique ornaments , tableware and related merchandise: all at drastically reduced prices and incredible savings.
We have a vast inventory of new and gently used items: clothes--- adults, children and babies; sports items; bathroom accessories; linens; coverlets; shower curtains; table cloths; jewelry and watches; hard and soft cover books; greeting cards; housewares and glassware; fabric and wool; wall art; picture frames; lamps; office / desk accessories and some incredible furniture. We even have a Holiday decorations area for those of you who like to plan ahead!
Store hours: Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 am – 4:00PM. LAST Late Night Thursday is tomorrow, the 24th, 10:00 am – 7:00pm. Starting 10/31 we will be closing at 4:00pm until next summer. Saturday hours are 11:00am – 3:00pm.
Note: We accept donations during store hours only, please don't leave them outside for the weather and little creatures to destroy. We accept clean clothing, household items, small kitchen appliances, jewelry, bicycles, furniture. Sorry, we cannot accept toys, large appliances, computers, TVs, exercise equipment, air conditioners, grills, mattresses, baby furniture or equipment. Please call ahead for large furniture to see if we can accommodate, or if unsure about any items.

The NFCTS is a non-profit tax-exempt organization dedicated to addressing the needs of New Fairfield and its residents, with special emphasis on the needs of individuals. Since its inception in 1994 we have donated funds for many town projects and organizations. On an individual basis we have provided ---rent and mortgage assistance; electric and fuel assistance; hot water heaters and furnaces; transportation; medical and dental payments; prescriptions and eyeglasses; clothing and household items; pre-school and after school child-care payments etc. We also provide annual educational scholarships to New Fairfield students demonstrating academic excellence coupled with community service over and above the requirement for graduation.
