A Cat Lover's Afternoon

February is National Cat Health month. Learn tips from experts on different aspects of caring and enjoying our feline companions. Hear about cat care, psychology and humorous cat anecdotes. You can "Ask the Vet" too. Panelists are:

Robin A.F. Olson is author of the award-winning blog, “Covered in Cat Hair.” She is a certified cat behavior counselor and President and founder of the non-profit cat rescue Kitten Associates. 
 
Clara McCabe is the founder and executive director of the Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides low cost, safe, and nurturing spay/neuter procedures for cats and dogs. 
 
Sally E. Bahner has more than 30 years’ experience as a writer and editor specializing in cat-related issues, specifically nutrition, holistic care, and cat behaviors. She is the founding editor-in-chief of The Whole Cat Journal, and has contributed to multiple other publications. Currently, she is offering her services as a feline behavior and care consultant. 
 
Allia Zobel Nolan is an internationally-published author of approximately 200 titles. She is best known for her humorous feline-related bestsellers, including Cat Confessions: A Kitty-Come-Clean Tell-All Book and her latest, Women Who Still Love Cats Too Much, an hiss-terical look at the things women have done and now do to get in good graces with their cats.
 
Dr. Patricia Doherty, DVM, graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and is a member of the veterinary practice at A Cat’s Place in Norwalk. Dr. Doherty earned her B.S. in Biology at Stony Brook University and has a special interest in internal medicine and pain management in older cats.
