Local Band Sought for July 4th Fireworks Show

The Cultural Alliance of Western CT and Danbury Fair are seeking a local cover band to open for The Zoo, the region's longtime "powerhouse" club favorite, on Thursday, July 3rd at the Mall's annual holiday fireworks show. The band will play from 6pm to ­7:30pm, followed by headliner The Zoo, all leading up to the fireworks launch at dusk (9:30-ish). To apply, visit www.artswesternct.org.
