Storytellers & Gala Kick Off Merryall Center's 2025 Season

Tickets are now on sale for Merryall Center’s 2025 Season! It all begins on Saturday, May 17th at 7:30 pm with “Merryall Tales – Personal Storytelling” featuring seven northeast-based Moth Grand Slam/Story Slam winners who have been spotlighted on PBS’ Stories From the Stage. On Saturday, May 31st , TV-legend, Karen Valentine, hosts the Merryall Gala. Doors open at 6:30 with small bites and entertainment provided by Frank Brocklehurst, joined by a trio of fellow musicians including Missy Alexander, Felicia Michael, Nick Petrone and Violet Willows (Brianne Chasanoff & Mary Gardner).
In June, Merryall Center kicks off Pride Month with It Goes Without Saying, written and performed by actor and mime Bill Bowers. June 14th features Lisa Stephen Friday, author, composer and NYC Public Theater commissioned artist. In late June, look for more established singers/songwriters, a one-person play and four concerts presented by the Sherman Chamber Ensemble. For those itching to step into the spotlight, join our Second Tuesday open mic nights, and check out our website’s Call for Submissions for “Expressing Motherhood,” a gathering of local voices and staged stories about the journey of mothering, coming in October.
