Ibiza Restaurant located at 39 High Street in New Haven officially closed its doors on Tuesday much to the disappointment of New Haven foodies. Owners Maria and Juan Gonzales made the surprising announcement Tuesday on Ibiza's Face book page and via email to its clientele.
"It is with immeasurable sadness that we must relay this devastating news to all of our respected customers. It is at all possible, please come join us for out last night of service here at Ibiza. We appreciate your continual support and loyalty over the past decade of service. Thank you," the Face book message stated.
There was no explanation in the email or Face book statement as to why the restaurant was closing its doors so suddenly and the owners could not be reached for comment.
