Not Your Average Carnival is Coming to St. Rose June 25-29!

Rita Power got caught doing something nice today: She was donating sodas for the Carnival at St. Rose. What a nice lady!

Here's the 411 about the fun from the folks at 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown.

St. Rose of Lima Parish in Newtown is pleased to announce that it will host its annual Carnival on the parish grounds beginning on Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013 and running through Saturday, June 29, 2013.

As in past years, the popular area carnival will feature rides and games by Stewart Amusement, from 6 – 10:30pm each evening, as well as a Kiddie tent with face painting and crafts and nightly entertainment. Food will be plentiful, and include burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, fried dough and various deserts, along with nightly specials from local area restaurants; including sausage & peppers, pulled pork sandwiches, pasta, meatballs and eggplant. Ride bracelets will be available for $25 per night.

Additionally, the St. Rose Home and School Association will offer their monthly Friday Night Bingo during the carnival on Friday, June 28th. Doors will open at 5:45pm and games begin at 6:30pm. Admission is $17 per person, which includes all regular and some special games, and carnival food will be available for purchase through student waiters.
