Save the Date: Creamery Opening April 8!

The day we have all been waiting for is upon us: the opening day of Ferris Acres Creamery! Their doors will officially open for the season on Tuesday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. 

For those who may never have tasted the splendors of the creamery, their ice cream is made fresh daily on the farm and includes many flavors of their own family recipes. Some of my favorites, to give you sneak peak of their decadent menu, include "Campfire - vanilla ice cream with fudge swirls, graham cracker pieces, and mini marshmallows," "Route 302 Chocolate Moo - chocolate ice cream with fudge swirls and lots of dark chocolate chunks," and their seasonal fall flavor, "Pumpkin Pie - pumpkin ice cream with graham cracker pieces." Yum! 

As the last working dairy farm in Fairfield County, the experience is truly unique and refreshing.
