About Pivot: Founded in 1970, Pivot Ministries is a residential treatment program located in Bridgeport and Norwalk, CT. The Pivot process is faith-based. We are a nonprofit agency with four decades of successful experience assisting men challenged by alcohol and substance abuse. Pivot's mission is to treat drug and alcohol addiction as a spiritual problem and return the men to their families usefully whole. Pivot Ministries serves approximately 250 men per year.

Tony Aitoro, COO of Aitoro Appliance and Electronics Store; a family owned and operated business in Norwalk since 1948. "Tony A," as he is called, has been an active member of the Fairfield County recovery community since 2002, and will share his personal recovery experience.
Gary Mendell, Founder and CEO of Shatterproof, will also share his experience of losing his son, Brian, to addiction and as a result launching Shatterproof, a bold, new national organization committed to protecting our children from addiction to alcohol or other drugs and ending the stigma and suffering of those affected by this disease.
The Pivot Choir will also perform.
