RMACT Hosts PreNatal & Fertile Yoga, Ladies Nights, Supports Groups & MORE in January

Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) is offering a host of events in January, most are FREE and open to the public. 

Ladies Night In Danbury

January 5 from 6 to 7:30 pm  -FREE

This peer support group is free of charge and open to the public. It is facilitated by Lisa Rosenthal & Carrie Van Steen, both former fertility patients, and fosters support, conversation and camaraderie amongst many infertility patients.

Fertile Yoga Trumbull

January 6, 13, 20 & 27: 5:45-6:45 pm -FREE

Yoga, meditation and deep relaxation can help men and women experiencing the challenges of infertility. Fertile Yoga helps couples relax and relaxation can help one make more satisfying decisions, communicate more clearly with their doctor, and sustain treatment with a more positive perspective. What you need: Comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, and bottle of water.

PreNatal Yoga Trumbull

Wednesday, January 6 at 7:00 pm

This pre-natal yoga class was created especially for women who have been through fertility treatment. Class is designed around the special physical and emotional needs of former fertility patients. Any woman, at any stage of pregnancy is welcome to attend class (with doctor’s approval). Come join us on the next step of your fertility journey. This class is open to the public. $10 per class or $40 for 4 (does not need to be consecutive classes).

All yoga classes will be led by Lisa Rosenthal RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). Lisa is a former fertility patient, who also worked for over 17 years as a national patient advocate for couples going through infertility. For questions and RSVPS: fertileyoga@gmail.com.

Third Party Reproduction Support Group - Norwalk

January 12 8:30 - 9:30 am - FREE

Please note a time change: This group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 8:30 AM– 9:30 AM in Norwalk.

This group welcomes patients in all stages of their family building process – from thinking about moving forward using an egg and/or sperm donor to choosing a donor to beginning your cycle and finally, to parenting. Support Group to Explore the Emotional Aspects of Egg and Sperm Donation - Danbury

January 28 from 6:30 -8:00 pm FREE

RMACT Mind Body Specialist, Melissa Kelleher, LCSW, will lead this support group in Danbury for all anyone thinking about using an egg donor or sperm donor at any stage of their decision making.

Please join other women who are facing similar choices for guidance and support in confidential setting. This group is free and open to the public.
