Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza to open in Darien

It was formerly called Centro, then Harper’s, but now the space at 319 Post Road in Darien will be occupied by something this area needs, a good pizza place. Norwalk is littered with places that serve up decent slices, but less than a handful are worth bragging about.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza will attempt to be the next great spot that makes, pounds out, and flips up pizza dough with that old world taste of a coal oven. Coal oven pizza is starting to catch on, if you want an example, check out Coalhouse Pizza in Stamford.
