South Norwalk, CT: Forty-five percent of full-time U.S. employees are working from home or remotely according to the most recent Gallup Poll (November 2021). The pandemic moved that needle considerably, but even with a gradual return back to the office, both employees and employers are rethinking their traditional office space situation. And while working from home has its perks, there’s no denying its challenges, including the much-needed change in scenery and a break from everyday home distractions.
February 15-17, Norwalk's premier retail, lifestyle, and event space, The SoNo Collection, invites the public to work from their big, bright, and beautiful space and take a break from their home office. Virtual Office Day workers are encouraged to pre-register. It’s FREE!
The SoNo Collection opens at 11AM. Workers will check in at the Magnificent Room, Level 2 to receive their complimentary coffee card to Café Oui and a list of available lunch discounts at The SoNo Collection’s Marketplace Eateries. Workspace locations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Workspace options include communal tables, common areas, and semi-private work cubicles. Free WiFi and computer plug-ins are available. To end the workday, Happy Hour from 5-6 PM includes complimentary appetizers and discounted drink prices at Pinstripes.
The newly open D1 Training which is located street level, is offering complimentary morning, afternoon, and end of the day classes. Contact: (203) 941-4818 or sign-up: www.d1training.com/norwalk/try-us-free
