
Elderhouse, a leader in providing adult day care services and support to caregivers, announces the appointment of six new members to its Board of Directors: Eileen T. Cahill, Eileen M. Carty, Andrea Coreau, Jennifer Kelly, Colette Lesperance, and Laura Roberts. These appointments bring the total number of current ElderHouse Board members to seventeen.
Located in Norwalk, CT, for over 40 years ElderHouse has provided a caring place for the day for Fairfield County seniors. With an adult day program that offers social engagement, activities, nursing care, meals and personal care at an affordable rate, the program provides caregivers with respite and peace of mind. Door-to-door transportation service is provided, and for those that need assistance at home, ElderHouse offers an Adult Family Living program that provides guidance and financial support to caregivers.
“We welcome our newest members to the board and look forward to the value their leadership will bring," said Denise Cesario, ElderHouse Executive Director. “They will help to further the organization as we expand our commitment to serving older adults and their families throughout lower Fairfield County.”
Eileen T. Cahill, of Wilton, CT, is head of Webster Private Bank’s financial planning practice, responsible for the design and creation of financial plans. She has 38 years of experience in financial planning and investment management, beginning her career at E.F. Hutton & Co. in 1982. She went on to join the U.S. Private Banking Division of The Chase Manhattan Bank, NA, and, then served at Fleming, Relyea & Cox, Inc. in Stamford, Hynes, Himmelreich, Glennon & Company in Darien, and Price Financial Group, LLC in Wilton. Ms. Cahill received her BBA in finance from Iona College and her MBA in finance from Fordham University.
Eileen M. Carty, of Fairfield, CT, is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Magnet Media, Inc. An accomplished sales executive with over 23 years of digital experience with start-ups and traditional organizations, Ms. Carty’s previous position was Head of Partnerships (East) for ATTN: inc. She began her career at News America Marketing and went on to hold senior sales positions at several firms including MySpace.com, POPSUGAR, Conde Nast, and Kindred Events. She was awarded the 2016 AWNY Working Mother of the Year. Ms. Carty received her B.A. in psychology from Fairfield University and her MBA in Marketing/Strategy from the University of California at Berkeley.
Jennifer Kelly, of Fairfield, CT, is a senior marketing professional with over 25 years of experience developing creative solutions that increase awareness and drive loyalty and growth in the highly competitive luxury leisure and lifestyle sector. Most recently, Jennifer worked for 10 years with the premiere global travel tour provider, Tauck, Prior to joining Tauck, she worked in the hotel sector at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and several marketing and public relations agencies. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central CT State University.
Colette Lesperance, of Stamford, CT, is Vice President BSA Officer at First County Bank. She possesses approximately 20 years of experience in regulatory compliance, which includes extensive experience in governmental auditing for the state of Connecticut. Ms. Lesperance is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She obtained a Bachelor in Accounting at Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master in Business Administration at Sacred Heart University. Mrs. Lesperance is also a self-published author of children’s books.
Laura Roberts, of Bridgeport, CT, is the founder of Laura Roberts Marketing, LLC, a marketing and public relations firm that specializes in serving nonprofit organizations throughout southern Connecticut. With over 30 years of experience, she has served as marketing director for the Fairfield Museum and History Center and the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County, and as a staff director for Bell Atlantic, specializing in marketing and regulatory planning. Ms. Roberts earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Marketing from Fairfield University.
