
Edgehill, an award-winning continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Stamford, Conn., in collaboration with its community partners, will open its doors later this month for a wellness fair showcasing the many services and amenities available at the community.
Health and Harmony: Edgehill’s Wellness Fair will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. – 2p.m. at 122 Palmers Hill Road, Stamford, CT. For the first time, this event is open to the public. Retirees and their adult children are highly encouraged to attend.
As part of the event, participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of presentations and wellness and health services such as blood pressure checks, resident exercise therapy and meet and greets with local EMT’s and Massage Therapist Athena Coroneos. Edgehill’s community partners include Sterling Home Care, Connecticut Pharmacy, Stamford Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Massage Therapist Athena Coroneos and Exercise Therapist Mary Melucci.

Staying Vertical: Six Steps to Reduce Falls
A must-attend presentation by Health Pro Heritage. Learn practical steps to improve balance, undergo balance screening and discover the benefits of therapy tune-ups to help prevent falls and enhance overall well-being.
Sound Advice: Treating Hearing Loss
Audiologist Dr. Ogilvy will discuss the services he provides to Edgehill residents, including early diagnosis and treatment of hearing issues, which can vastly improve quality of life.
Eating at Eighty?
Customer Service Navigator and Dietary Manager Serena O'Brien and Executive Chef Anthony Napolitano will share key insights on proper nutrition and the benefits of healthy, delicious foods. Enjoy tastings that are both nutritious and flavorful.
Podiatry for Balance & Comfort
Gabriel Ross, a community podiatrist who provides onsite services to Edgehill residents, will demonstrate the vital role podiatry plays in maintaining balance and comfort, particularly as we age.
