September 23 - Warrant Arrest

22 year old Anthony Waite of Webster Road turned himself into the Ridgefield Police after learning he had a warrant for his arrest.  Mr. Waite was arrested after an investigation resulting in motor vehicle charges which included reckless driving, two counts of failing to carry a license, three counts of traveling too fast, passing in a no passing zone, and failure to carry registration and insurance cards .  He was processed and released on a $5,000 bond.

September 27 - Ridgefield High School Student issued Juvenile Summons

Ridgefield Police observed a car driving through the Ridgefield High School parking lot.  The 17 year old passenger in the car pulled out what appeared to be a shotgun and aimed the barrel out the car window. The vehicle was stopped by the police and the gun was found to be an airsoft type without an orange tip.  The passenger was brought to police headquarters where he was issued a Juvenile Summons to appear at Danbury Juvenile court on October 15th at 9:30am. He was released to his parents.

September 27 - Narcotics Arrest

Ridgefield Police responded to the recreation pool at Eleven Levels for a report of underage drinking.  Upon arrival, police noticed a glass smoking pipe with marijuana residue in it in plain view next to a case of beer.  All parties were over the age of 21 and were able to get rides home.  A 25 year old Ridgefield man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana.
