The Big Apple Circus has set up its big top in Stamford, CT!    With performances running through July 4th, this is a great event for the whole family.  The big top is set up at Mill River Park, in Stamford,   The tent is blissfully air-conditioned and no seat is more than 50 feet from the ring.  The big top itself is 63 feet tall!

The all-new show is entitled "Dance On!" and features monocyclists, lasso twirlers from China, Mongolian contortionists, amazing acrobatics, dogs, miniature horses, juggling, a trapeze artist, clowns, and so much more.

The best thing about the Big Apple Circus is that it is a not-for-profit arts institution that puts on an amazing show while also striving to serve the communities where it performs.  Their "Clown Care" program brings the circus to hospitalized children and the "Vaudeville Caravan" program performs to the elderly living in residential care facilities. "Circus After School" is a program for at-risk children and the Circus also offers discounted and free tickets to schools and not-for-profit organizations serving disadvantaged children.  "Circus of the Senses" is a special program of free performances to children with hearing and vision impairments and other disabilities along with their teachers, families, and caregivers.  What a treat to enjoy an award-winning circus that has such dedicated community outreach!
