Interested in Calligraphy... There's a Class for it!

 

Would you like to send cards or letters addressed and written in the the most beautiful hand-writing?

 

INK Fine Stationers is offering a six week introductory session on the use of a broad edged calligraphic pen.  You'll learn basic calligraphic letter-forms in the Italic hand and experiment with proper inks. The lessons are designed to grow your confidence so you'll be comfortable applying your own content in pen and ink to your artwork.

 

Each session, lead by instructor Anne Tascio of Benedicite Art, meets on Thursdays (February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, 28) from 10 am to 12 Noon, and a Lamy Calligraphy pen with 3 nibs, ink and all paper material is included.

A small finished calligraphy piece (a favorite inspirational quote, a poem...) is the goal of the class as well as envelope addressing.  Intermediate students are also welcome.

*Cancellations made at least 14 days before the first class meeting are eligible for store credit. INK Fine Stationers may cancel a class if fewer than six students enroll. If a class is canceled for fewer than 6 students, full refunds will be given. Snow days will be made up in April. Please note that all classes are held at INK Fine Stationers, 109 Danbury Road.
