Please join us for Shine's 7th Annual SMA Cut-a-Thon on Sunday, August 28 from 10am-2pm to benefit the families of SMA. SMA is the #1 genetic killer of children under the age of two, with one in 6,000 babies born each year afflicted. One in 40 people are carriers of the SMA gene and SMA can strike anyone of any age or ethnicity.
It's Cubby Wax 12th birthday! He was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) at 4 months old and every year Shine Salon raises money for the cure in his honor. In celebration of his 12th birthday, we will also be having a cupcake decorating station, where kids can complete their cupcakes with assorted toppings for $1 donation.
