Since 1974, Ridgefield Guild of Artists has offered members and non-members alike the chance to have their art work judged on-site by a highly-qualified juror.
In past years, we have had such amazing jurors as Robert Cottingham, Ben Genocchio, Kenise Barnes, Steven Assael and Steve DeFrank. RGA's Annual Juried Show provides a venue for both established and emerging artists. It is a jewel in the crown of events that the Guild offers each year, and our beautiful galleries brim with works of all sizes, shapes and colors. We invite all regional artists to participate.

About the Juror: Raised in upstate New York and Connecticut, Jacquie Littlejohn received her BFA degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1976 after which she moved to New York City. In 1984 Littlejohn opened her gallery in Soho followed by a move to midtown Manhattan in 1992 where Littlejohn Contemporary showcased critically acclaimed mid-career and emerging artists.
Littlejohn Contemporary represents a diverse and compelling group of contemporary mid-career artists. The gallery's aesthetic presents a variety of genres, including abstraction and allegorical narrative focusing primarily on painting, drawing, mixed media, and photography by national and international artists—many of whom Littlejohn has shown for over two decades. These artists stand out for their quality, uniqueness of vision and thought-provoking contributions to the contemporary art world.
In 2004 Ms. Littlejohn moved to Weston CT. She makes frequent trips to the NYC to oversee her gallery, now located in the Chelsea gallery district of Manhattan. Littlejohn has served as Juror for many national competitions including NYU's Annual Small Works Show and the Annual Members' show of The National Arts Club. In 2003-4 Littlejohn served on the Executive Capital Campaign Committee of the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT. She currently serves on the Arts Advisory Board for a preparatory school in MA and on the board of Fairfield County's Aspetuck Land Trust.
