Award-winning Broadway star Linda Eder's holiday show will sparkle at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, December 8

Hearing the season's favorite songs sung by one of the most brilliant voices of our time will be a holiday highlight when Linda Eder brings her show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m. Eder's leading role as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway and her unprecedented 12-week run on Star Search made her a well-known star of stage and concert circuit. Linda will feature cuts from her new CD Christmas Where You Are backed by her 7-piece band playing a crowd-pleasing repertoire including "Baby, It's Cold Outside", "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "Ave Maria" and "O Holy Night". Two original songs, "Christmas Where You Are", which she wrote, and "Silence of Snow" will become new classics. In the festive holiday spirit, the evening starts with a wine & cheese tasting in the lobby at 6:45 p.m. plus a reception with artist Nancy C. Woodward courtesy of Watershed Gallery. "Christmas is meant to be a special time when we remember what is important in life and the people who are dearest to our hearts. Christmas music plays a big part in that," explains Linda Eder.

"Linda Eder is quite simply the most versatile recording artist to ever walk into a recording studio or grace a stage to perform. Her range is panoramic, her power is unbridled and her ability to 'feel' a song gives the piece purpose. Linda's unmatched grace, poise and warmth clearly catapult her above her peers. Her interaction with her audience demonstrates ... the ease with which she seamlessly combines anecdotes of her life along with her song selection...", commented a fan who saw Linda Eder in concert.
