There seems to be some misinformation on the web about Ridgefield Hardware (I must admit, I saw it too). Here is a statement from them:
"Ridgefield Hardware would like to clarifiy some incorrect information out there. Ridgefield Hardware did close the store early during the storm last week; however, we ARE NOT closing our doors.
"We are here and OPEN for business. Come on by, we will be happy to assist you."
