Limited seating remains to experience one of the most sought after live comedians in the business -- from stand-up to sketch comedy to movies, TV and the biggest radio show in the world -- Artie Lange! He has done it all in the comedy world. Lange's decidedly non-PC material often consists largely of observational bits, self deprecation and storytelling.
The star of his self-titled live show on DirecTV and former Howard Stern Show resident will bring his comedy show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, April 5, at 8 p.m.
In 1995, he starred in the first and second seasons of MADtv and was featured in the cult classic Dirty Work with Norm Macdonald, who brought Artie Lange into the second season of his sitcom, The Norm Show. From there, Lange was off to the races. In 2001, he replaced Jackie Martling on The Howard Stern Show and quickly became one of their most popular characters staying until 2009. In addition to his comedy-writing talents, Artie Lange is a published author and co-wrote, with Anthony Bozza, Too Fat to Fish (2008), which debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times Best Sellers list, and Crash and Burn (2013), which also hit the New York Times Best Sellers list.
