JUST MOVED: Meet Alan and Carol Solinger

HamletHub has teamed up with Personal Touch Welcome so that we can introduce our readers to Ridgefield's newest residents. When reading the interview below, perhaps you'll notice that you work in the same industry, you share a love of animals, or you both originate from the same city or state. Today we introduce you to Alan and Carol Solinger.

Alan's job brought the duo to Ridgefield. They moved from Potomac, Maryland. Before that, they lived in Oakland, Thousand Oaks, and San Diego, California, and Randolph New Jersey. They are originally from Cincinnati. Alan works for Boehringer Ingelheim, managing some of their clinical trials. He is an immunologist/rheumatologist.

Carol has worked in marketing for 25 years and as a teacher the last few years. In addition, she has taught on the college and graduate level in various Business Schools. Her favorite job was working for Qualcomm as Business Manager for Africa and the Middle East. Carol is currently completing her doctorate degree.

The Solingers have two children: Megan lives in Baltimore and works in admissions for the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. Andrew graduates from Vanderbilt Law School next month and will be working for a law firm in Washington, D.C. They also have two dogs, a Vizsla named KYLI and a Yorkie-pomeranean named BAILEY.

Carol and Alan love the quaint town of Ridgefield and the friendly people they have met. Carol is an artist and may want to join the Guild of Artists. Both Carol and Alan enjoy attending plays and concerts and are eager to meet new people.
