In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket... for free.
This year, Museum Day Live! is Saturday, September 27, and many local museums and historical centers are participating, including the The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield. To see the list of all the participants, please click here.
To receive your free Museum Day Live! ticket for two people only, please register here. Once registered, you can request a ticket to a participating venue. The ticket will be available to download immediately up to the date of the event. You must print your ticket and present it to receive your free admission or have it accessible on your mobile device (pending museum participation).
