Ann’s Place Appoints New President & CEO
The Board of Directors of Ann’s Place is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Zeolla as President and CEO of the organization, effective October 1, 2014. Anthony had served as Acting President since April 2014. Prior to that he served on the Board of Directors, as Treasurer of Ann’s Place, member of the Finance Committee and as a Volunteer.
Mr. Zeolla has over 35 years of experience in Financial, Accounting, Reporting, IT and Operations with various industries across small to large organizations. Anthony had previously worked for IBM in various accounting and financial management roles from 2006 to 2014, most recently as CFO STG NA PureSystems. Prior to those positions, he worked for Frontier Communications for 11 years in various managerial roles including Divisional Controller of the Broadband business prior to his departure. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He attended Mahopac High School in Putnam county New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York. Anthony has been a resident of Ridgefield, CT for the past 19 years and resides there with his wife, Barbara and daughter, Rachel. He is a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth Seton Church in Ridgefield, where he is a member of the Finance and Golf Committee.

He has accomplished a great deal in the five months that he served as Acting President through a smooth transition from previous leadership, he was able to build a strong team with new hires, built momentum within the agency and has poised us for growth” reported David Nurnberger, Chairman of the Board of Ann’s Place. “The Board agreed that Anthony is the best person to continue this progress and to lead our organization in the future,” he added.
“I am honored and privileged to be selected to lead an organization established since the early 1990’s who’s founders had the vision to fill the void between medical care and the psychosocial needs of cancer patients and family members,” said Anthony. “I take this role very seriously since there are hundreds of clients and family members relying on our services. I appreciate the confidence and wide support from the Board of Directors, staff, hundreds of our volunteers and the community at large.”
