The Hunt Is Still On for St. Stephen's Nursery School Alumni!

St. Stephen's Nursery School is on a mission to find alumni from it's very first graduating class of 1969. Is it you? So far the earliest alum they have photographed is Steven Coury, class of ’79, who recalls that SSNS gave him “a loving home away from home.” Kay Gelfman, mom of SSNS alum Octavia (’09) said “St. Stephen’s Nursery School gave me and my daughter a Ridgefield family!” Like many parents, Kay is often reminded of the joys of SSNS saying, “The art she made is still hanging around my office. The freedom to play and to learn helped contribute to the student she is today. The teachers set the bar for all who have followed. She is on her way to Middle School next year and I am forever thankful for the kind, nurturing environment in which she got her educational start.” 

Townspeople and alumni alike are invited to Gallo Ristorante on this Thursday evening, November 13th at 7pm, to share SSNS memories while contributing toward its future. The Gallo event, will include several local guest bartenders, including Mark Blandford, father of two SSNS alumni – Adeline (class of ‘09) and Theodore (‘12) – as well as Tracy Budnik and Carie Padgett, whose children Faye (’15) and Claire (’15), respectively, are currently enrolled in the school’s Terrific Threes program. With help from other parents, these two moms are spearheading the #SSNSGaveMe social media campaign and fundraising event. 

This will be a fundraising event that will raise money for the SSNS Scholarship fund. Gallo will donate 10 percent of each check and 100 percent of guest bartender tips to the SSNS Scholarship Fund.
